2nd post...First post subject line not pleading enough! Hi, Thanks in advance for answering my possibly stupid questions but....., I just used "dvd decrypter" and was wondering how you play a movie once it is decrypted and stored on your hard drive in a folder. There are all kinds of files there, Which one starts the movie??
Hiya, Depends on a few things: Did you rip just the main movie? or all files? If it was just the main movie then there will be a number of VOB files and an IFO file...... If you have PowerDVD (software dvd player) you can play the results in that - either using dvd on hard drive mode OR file mode If you ripped all files, it gets more complicated.... Have Fun...
Well, I ripped the whole thing...I guess..as I said I'm VERY new to this. I I basically just followed the basic directions and when the decrypter finished, I had a folder named the decrypted movie (Freaky Friday) on my C drive with a bunch of files. I tried clicking on a few but all I got was a few mins of video here and there I do have the dvd movie software power DVD but don't know how to associate that with the decrypted movie...Hmmmm Dumb huh??? Don't answer that!!
OK damikster right click on a vob file open ......choose program.....then choose power dvd or win dvd which ever you wished that should open your vob files with the dvd player tool you have
