How do I get rid of the black bars on top and below the picture of my divx?

Hate to say that unless you have a special widescreen tv and can adjust the setting of you graphics card/dvd-player you will not be able to get rid of the bars._X_X_X_X_X_[small]This is an amazingly imformative site with many places to find information and help. Please support it.

    Hello
Are you making the Divx file? If so then you can crop it to remove the lines. See

This is in the guides section. It may be possible to convert the premade Divx files, but you would have to transfer the file into an uncompressed file (as Roxio6 will let you do) and transfer back to divx file. But doing this you will lose a lot of quality and it will become a little grainier.
