Hi guys, I've just came across a forum where I read something about MPlayer for Linux that can be run in GC.. anyone have the tutorials of how to do this from the scratch.. ? I went to the GCLinux Dev site but I can't understand a damn thing ( forgive this newbie ) I'm really interested in watching stuff in my GC rather than moving outta my bed into my PC and opening files here and there.. and I'm sure most of the people here think the same.. so if anyone knows how to do this, mind sharing.. ? cheers !
yep i got this working and its great for mp3s and avi files what u gotta go is go download the dol file for it (makeshure u get the right version for ur mod chip) and there is a winrar file u need. i got all this from johsgctracker then burn it to a GC readable disk in the usual iso forman and put the dol file and the winrar fle i nthe root menu of the dvd and then add what ever movies u want. burn it, put it in the cube and select the dol file there will be a shit load of text and the laser will start and stop spinning for a minute then u will be in the menu for the player. just click and enjoy.
