you do know that when you mention "downloaded games" that you refer to piracy, dont you? read the rules before posting or a mod will ban you dude.

You could get an x360dock, they are about the same price as one game.

The x360dock is really no different than the xkey. Different device same concept.

Are you trying to burn with an xbox dvd drive? you need a dual layer dvd burner in your pc. The 800 firmware is for ripping your legit games to the hard drive of your pc and the 360 drives have no burning capabilities.

Dude, being able to play games is not a God given right. You're acting like the entertainment is on the same par as food.

    Stop being a cheapskate.

if you go out and purchase 2 retail games, you are looking at 120 + tax. the xkey is still cheaper than 2 games and will save you a ton more later.

no, you dont need "dual layer dvd burner in your pc", you need a specific type of burner.

You need one of the following Lite-On SATA drives, flashed with BurnerMax: -

    Lite-On iHAS124B
    Lite-On iHAS224B
    Lite-On iHAS324B
    Lite-On iHAS424B
    Lite-On iHAS524B
    Lite-On iHAS624B

I bought a liteon Ihas 124b from newegg.com , but when I got it was sata so I had to get a sata to ide adapter. bought a pack of 50 dl dvd-r discs that were memorex(expensive).. couldn't find the Ihas124b-memorex.bin so I bought some verbatum,, I flashed the 124b using the tut and xtreme burner software .. now the final flash is "iHAS-124B-AL0S-MKM001MKM003-final.bin".
I can burn a game with only the final prompt about disc space but when inserted in 360 the screen goes black for about 22 seconds the back to dashboard..
its confusing to follow a tut and not sure if the dvd drive the tut is referring to is the liteon of the 360.do I need to flash the 360 to read the discs?? will check out that 800 firmware you mentioned.
put an ad on craigslist seeking local help and got no reply. I live in yuba city, ca.so I have decided not to dump more money on the project.poop.

ok then, keep shelling out the 60 + tax per game then. if you read and follow the directions in the tut's then you wont have a problem. apparently, you dont want the help that we are trying to give you.
