Ok, Ive been reading all about the M3 adapter, and the G6 thing but still do not know what to get. Im desperate to play DS Roms, and possibly GBA Roms (although I want it mainly for DS games) but dont know which would be the better option for me. I am in the UK with a US DS Lite and have been looking at the products on www.divineo.cn and have got very confused!! Basically I would like to buy an all in one package that would allow me to play a downloaded Rom as soon as I get it. Can I get this? Or will I have to purchase extra things like a card reader for my PC? Would I be better off getting a CF version of the M3? If so I would probably go for the "M3 Adapter CF version inc. NDS PassCard 3" from divineo but is this all I would need? Have also looked at the DS-Xtreme 4Gb but I dont think it is out yet. Does anybody know anything about it? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks
The DS-X would be the all in one soloution that you want, but it cannot play GBA games, and as you said, is not out yet. If you don't want to be buying removable media or card readers i would recommend to go with the G6 Lite, you will also need a Passcard3, but that is all you need, the G6 will come with everything you need to put roms on it.
Thanks for the reply Mr Hanky. What is the compatability like for the G6 Lite and should I be concerned about future games that will be released not working with the system? I see you recommended the M3 to someone else, is this the system of choice over the G6 if I didnt mind buying those extra things?
The M3 is the better of the two, it's only the sticking out issue that made me get a G6 Lite, when the M3 Lite is out i'll most likly get that. Compatibility is the best around on these and they are constantly updated to work with the newest games, I think I remember when Mario 3on3 came out, an update was released the same day I can only think of 2-3 roms that have small problems running, but are playable. the only ROM that currently dosn't work is the Opera Browser, but the M3 team are trying to utilise the M3's SRAM to work as the RAM expansion needed by the ROM to work.
