playing episodes on my dvd player?

    hi, i have quite a few .avi files with some XVID codecs and some without. Can someone tell me how I can play these files on my dvd player, which plays everyhting (dvd backups, cdr backups). Do I just burn the files on to a dvd-r and play them or will that not work? Or do I have to convert the files into another format? Thanks.

    You would need to have a DivX/MPEG-4/AVI player. For a regular DVD player, you need to convert to DVD video before burning.

    I have a problem with episodes I just burned I burned 5 episodes to a dvd but my player only plays 1 and its split into 9 chapters. But eps 2-5 dont show up at all. What wrong?
