playing euro backup on american gamecube? black and white color

When i load a euro backup on my ngc with xeno gc the games play black and white, how can i fix this!?!

 

Supposedly, you should be able to hold Y (or was it X?) on boot to force to NTSC. Personally, I couldn't get it to work on my brother's XenoGC.

 

Here's a link to the official Xeno GC settings page. http://www.xenogc.com/settings.html Says that the NTSC/PAL fix may or may not work, depending on the game.

 

When I tried it, the XenoGC made no attempt at forcing the video at all.

At least with my qoob Pro, it makes an effort with games that it doesn't work with.
