Just wondering if it is possible to play GoW online with the same console,same gmertag, 2 players. Reason I ask is because I was playing yesterday and saw 4 guys on a team but 2 of them had the same name and the other two had the same other name if you know what I mean. Sorry for the noob question.
So lets say I'm in the games menu and I sign on as my gamer tag (haven't gotten in to search for the match) I just go to search for match and then have geust sign as guest or what. Can you be alittle more specific. Just got the 360 for my kid and he wants to play also(but wife got me GOW for me to play with his console because I got the ps3 for my birthday) so if anyone can help me out. Like I mentioned I'm such a noob to 360 scene.
Sorry I'm not at my 360 to give exact instructions, but the trick is this if I remember: Log in as just your xbox live tag then go to the lobby and select XBOX Live player match (or whatever)... then there should be a option (i think X button) to log in a guest on the same console.
- sign into your Live gamertag - start up GOW - select "Start" > "Verses" > "Xbox Live Player Match" - bottom left of the screen you'll see the "Y" button is now for guest sign in You can only play "Player" matches with a guest, not "Ranked" matches. Depending on a game, you can have from 1 to 4 players on 1 360 online. I know Call of Duty 3 supports 4 players.
or if you've got multiple accounts on ur 360, and ur's is the only gold membership you can do this as well Player 1: Ur account (gold membership) Player 2: Account #2 (silver) i've only done it w/ 2 players, so i'm not sure if it'll work upto 4 players or not. but it's a way for silvers to get those multiplayer xboxlive achievements.
