    RENDER
    Video Path: Blank
Audio Path: (S) AVI Splitter, Morgan Stream Switcher
(Render: Partial Failure) Direct Show partialy succeeded to play file. Acual text waring: 0x00040242 VFW_S_PARTIAL_RENDER

I used AVIcodec and it got this
    File: 693 MB(275kb), duration 0:00:00, type avi, 1 audio streams, quality 65%

    Video: 0.0B, 0kbps, 29.970 fps, 352x240(4:3), xvid=XVID Mpeg-4 Supported

I use VirtualDUbb. But it couldnt play it I got this error message
(couldnt locate decompressor for format xvid)

AM I missing a codec or some kind of player, I would appreciate any help at all cuz I am clue less.

You need to have XviD installed or something else that can handle the fourCC via VfW.

I would be worried about the PCM audio though and the runtime. Looks like it could be a fake file to me.

VfW = Video for Windows. It is the interface that VDub uses for video. If XviD was properly installed you would not get the error.
In Vdub does XviD show up on the compression list? If not then it isn't installed properly.

Most common reason for VfW codecs not installing is a corrupt vidc entry in the registry. Are you using Koepi's installer though? Because as I recall it checks and removes such entries.
