Hi I was wondering recently if i could play ps2 on my pc monitor and it seems like I could. I found a vga box on ebay and was thinking of buying it but before i did that i wanted to ask people here questions and suggestions. The main reason i'm doing this is because my t.v. sucks and since i don't really watch t.v. i'm not gonna buy another one to play games. I thought since pc monitors have way better resolution i should find something that allows to play on it. This will probably be a stupid question but i'm gonna ask anyway, will the games look better on the pc monitor? Which one would you reccomend me to buy?
Honestly, I notice a big difference in playing games on PC monitor than on TV. Though TV is better in quality [well depends on TV of course], on PC monitor, it is not bad at all. PC monitor would not be better unless you have a specific PC monitor that has composite [sp?] connection. I do not think screen resolution for gaming would really matter since it would take up the whole screen anyways. Innovation is good but they only sell individual systems. I have a universal system TV > PC but it takes 10 seconds to switch from PC to TV Monitor. Sorry if this information isn't sufficent.
thanx man. One question though, what do you mean the tv has better quality? are you talking about hdtv? also what difference do you notice on ps2 games when playing on PC monitor instead of the tv? are the games sharper? do they look clearer etc.?
