I have a Sony external DVD/CD writer. I used the Roxio software to shrink my DVD's and used the DVD decrypter v3.1.9.0, but it will not play on my DVD player on the TV. I saw it burning the movie, it took like 1 hour. When I put in the movie, it will play the menu, but once I select "play movie" it goes to the warning page and freezes up? What am I missing or doing wrong? Please help, this is driving me crazy! Thank you!
pmlions, Roxio software isn't very good at DVD backup. It seems many people have problems with it. Most use DVDshrink and Decrypter with Nero as the burning program. It just seems to work better. How did you use Roxio to SHRINK your files? DVDshrink is the best one to use for this. Also some freeze-ups are caused by poor quality blank media. Use a good brand media. Jerry
Jerry746 is right about Roxio software.. .I use Nero but you can also try this: When you get the menu screen and you push play and it freezes up... try pressing the "next chapter >" and see if it will play sometime my DVD disc will lock up to... my player is very picky. Good Luck sirmugen
