I just downloaded an movie and when I tried to play it all I can hear is sounded and the screen just has little blobs going across it, like the ones that are on windows media player when I listen to a cd. I was wondering why the picture wasn't showing up. I tired to download that player thing that you posted about, but I wasn't successful.

Try playing it in different players. Quicktime or Divx may work it. If that doesnt work, then search for a video codec. when you open the file, does a box pop up asking you to download a codec? If yes, click yes, and you should be able to see it
