I just borrowed an xbox game from a family member and am wondering how to play it on my pc? I'm sure this is possible (what's not?), so I'd like to know how. I downloaded an emulator, Cxbx, thinking that might work, but it only play .xbe files. So, if I cant play the game via a program, how do I rip it to that format?
@circleda I'm very sorry to be the one to break the news to you but "You cannot play xbox games on a computer". The only way that it would be possible is if you put an xbox inside of your PC case (literally). But an xbox game cannot be played on a computer system. DON'T SHOOT ME JUST YET...LOL. I'm very familiar with Cxbx. You should go to their site and ead about the progress they've made, not just the goal. What I mean is, yes, it is supposed to be an xbox emulator but the games that they have gotten to work are still full of bugs and crash quite frequently. That alone makes it almost not worth attempting yet and solidifies it's TRUE BETA satus for a little over 2yrs now. I believe one game that has a little playability is Turok (but it crashes) and another is a game called Panter Dragon and if remember right it crashes after the main screen (pressing start). In short, Sorry, NO full working xbox emulator yet.
