playstation 2 version 2

    ok i have a version 2 ps2 and i am going to put a dms 3 version 2 chip in there and i have a dvd burner and the media i am using are cicero 100 pack of dvd-r is this all i need to back up my dvd ps2 games and play them thanks

    Maybe. First of all, that version 2 is one of the hardest PS2's to install a mod into. You'll probably find it next to impossible to get it apart to hookup the SCEX wire that goes on the other side of the motherboard. The DVD drives in those machines are flaky and I honestly can't guarantee that the media you bought will read in it. If you're up for a real challenge give it a shot.

    sounds pretty generic to me. Have you tried copying a movie to these and testing it on your ps2?
