Which number is the serial number on the bottom of an original PlayStation. Is it the 8 digit number in the white box. I tried to trade mine in at GameStop and he said he couldn't find the serial, none of the numbers he entered into their computer would work. They wouldn't let trade in the system without a serial number. I want to trade in the system and pick up Resident Evil 2.
Must of the result were PS4 related. When I excluded "PS4" from my search all I found were mentions of the PS serial port. Not a problem anymore though. I went back to GameStop tonight and a different worker set up my trade-in with no problems.
