Please help and explain

I started useing the aurthering thing on shrink to just do the movie and everytime I burn one and put it in my kids portable dvd player the subtitles are playing,words at the bottom of the screen. Everything is cut off on the dvd player, But whenI put it in any of our players on the tvs its not there, plays fine. Being I have no menu how can I fix it on the portable, or at least fix the problem in shrink for latter use.......thanks alot guys

 

you need to untick Subpicture streams in the reauthor mode those are your subtitles

philraz's instructions are right on. To add to that, if you do a bit of research you can easily learn to use the Full Disc option to record movie only with a menu and keep or delete any additional audio or subpictures (subtitles) as wanted. The key is using Still Image in the compression settings to edit.

 

Please explain where this is, I can find the sub frame in re aurther. Thanks alot

 

After you drag your movie over to the left frame click on compression settings tab thats where you will find subpicture streams
