However when i load up ifoedit and try to find the file it dosent show. Why is this ,im totally lost and feel like smashing my house up can someone please advise me what to do...thanks
hi is it dvd complaint mpeg2? but anyhoo's is it an avi or mpeg? use divxtodvd it will make vob/ifo/bup then just burn them to disc = done! divxtodvd is free and fast!!! use nero to burn on ADD-VIDEO tab button and place all files in the folder it makes called VIDEO_TS and burn 4x
hi dont know if you understood that first reply? dont bother with tmpgenc! go avi to vobs etc in one go! = divxtodvd! also you can use film machine or avi2dvd all 3 apps free! latter 2 tkaes 3 hours but man is the quailty good!!!! i use um! divxtodvd is like 1 hour?
ok im using divx to dvd right now , so what you are saying bypass tmpeg all together. Just use divxtodvd converter then burn to dvd.? sorry im totally new to this. I just downloaded a trial for copytodvd. I dont have nero and the only other programme i ever used is decrypter, could i burn using this? thanks again
If you are trying to convert AVI using DivXtoDVD then try this guide, http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/AVItoDVD.html It applies if your file is going to be over the 4.3 DVD5 size limit You can also try this guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_divxtodvd_guide.cfm
load the output from divxtodvd in dvd shrink then output to dvd decrypter's burn engine to burn it! when you hit backup button you will see a window the settings in there! yes let divxtodvd do the lot!
it worked , only one thing it plays on my standalone but the picture is a square in middle. How do i get the picture to stretch to end? thanks
shit thats a bug in divxtodvd! but its a rare one.... what a game man? sorry... you can use avi2dvd or film machine to get over that but its like 3hours, but i do recommend it!
when you say a bug , do you mean just for that file , or if i uninstalled it and reinstalled it would it fix it?
i used avi2dvd and it still came out the same , is there a prog i could use instead of tmpeg that will stretch the movie?
hi there it still came out the same? i think there is more to this one? but its got me beat? sorry...
What file format is the original in? (nowhere in the text did I read the poster saying, although it was assumed to be avi subsequently)
with VSO dvxtodvd you have ... aspect automatic...in the drop down box, you have force 4.3 the square screen option, and force 16.9 the wide screen option. Try the 16.9 wide screen option DVDsanta has the same options. best of luck gringle
