I cant burn DVD's anymore! i start, lets say, dvd decrypter, and i get this messege: "device not ready (cannot read medium - unknown format)" when i put in an ordnidary CD in there it works. I have burned DVDs and used dvd decrypter lots of times before..

the last thing i did was installing alcohol 120% and after that everything started to get wierd.

i have tried installing ASPI layers and stuff like that, updating with firmware, etc etc. still wont work..

please, i have searced the internet for 4 hours now! it cant be broke! i can read dvds/CDs burn cd's, but i cant burn DVD,

and yes, i have a dvd writer. (hp dvd writer dvd400i) ist totaly new, and i use DVD+R. and i have burned DVD+R before with dvd decrypter, just stoped working when i installed alcohol 120%.. but im not sure if its alcohol 120% did it..

    Hi,

Is Decrypter trying to read from the virtual drive that A120 installs instead of your defalt optical drive? Make sure it's trying to read from the correct drive.

You can also try disabling the virtual drive in A120 and see what happens.

I've also heard of alcohol 120% messing with other programs such as dvd cloner2. Try un-installing it tonarrow the problem down a bit.
