hello.. my cpu ( core 0 ) is running at 30% even when its idle . microsoft's process explorer says my hardware is being interrupted and is true . when i disable the usb controllers from the bios and lan card ( pci slot no.2 ) everything works fine but i cannot use a pc without usb ports ......... is there any fix for this ?
    * i even updated to the latest usb drivers frm intel but still no luck.

    GIGABYTE 975x mobo/4gb ram / nvidia 9600gt / pentium d 820 @ 2.8ghz

    thanks in advance

Do they both have to be dissabled? That is, how much idle load do you have with USB enabled but lan card dissabled? How much for the other way around? Also, do you have anything other than mouse & keyboard on the USB ports? AND, does it make a difference if the LAN cable is plugged in or not?
