My girlfriend dropped her v220 and the lcd (main lcd) broke. But at the top you could still see cingular and the batt whatever. So carfully i take the v220 apart and install the new lcd. I was carful i swear i did it right. Now the new lcd gets power but stays like a fuzzy black...the sound still happens and i can still make and recive calls...but when i put the old lcd back ion its dark fuzzy at the top and you cannot see cingular and teh batt meter. Does anyone know what the problem is? Did i break somthinmg? I mean the lcd is def still getting power because when u open the phone the light comes on. The lcd also turns on there is a fifference between off and the fuzzy black when its on. Please help me out

well i was stupid enough to drop my v220 too, and both displays went down. you could only see how they are backlit but nothing on them, the phone worked fine but it was kindda hard to use phonebook if you didn't see anything on the screen...
i was very upset because of the "damage" and i fixed it by droping my v220 on the asphalt.
