Hi loganizer Welcome to aD 1st thing - let's edit out the serial # - begins w/ 1C at the top of the log. Don't need someone else using it. Looks like this is Mad Dog burner from the firmware you are using. There's actually a newer one that may help - 2.FA http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1906 May help the discs you are using - 16x made by Ritek. If this firmware update doesn't do the trick for the Ritek's better to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan only Sony, Fuji or Maxell. Keep us posted! edit: Spelling
Hi, Edit or delete your product s/n. (top right button of your post) You may want to check your drive firmware to verify it's the most recent, in here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1904 You're burning close to the edge, I suggest you customize the size to about 4300-4350MB Also suggest to change your nero version to 7.0.8.2 Uninstall current version, then use nero general clean tool, from here http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html download version 7.0.8.2 from here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 Let me know how it goes. Cheers!!!

Ok - your drive is still not liking these discs. Fails instantly. Ritek can be decent but they don't look like they are compatibile w/ your burner. Guessing your using Memorex 16x. Best bet is to pick up some Verbatim or made in Japan only Sony, Fuji or Maxell. Great media and usually very compatible w/ most burners.
No problem Your drive though does support up to 16x on both the - & + format. So your drive likes the manufacturer of the +R's you picked up - didn't like the 16x Ritek -R's (memorex brand ?).
