Hi i was wondering how do you get your v3 to ring longer because mine goes to my voicemail after ringing probably twice.

    Try this one

    **61*voicemailnumber*11*30# SEND

I'm not sure if this varies from network to network but I'm with T-Mobile and it worked for me.
Just type it in as you would if you were calling someone. Hopefully it'll work!

Hmmmm, that's a bit odd. Mine used to ring for about 15 seconds and then stop, so I put in that code and it changed.

    **61*voicemailnumber*11*30# SEND

The 30 represents the number of seconds. Did you put in the right voicemail number? For example, when I did mine it was: **61*[bold]+440627900000000[/bold]*11*30# I didn't do it right for the first few times, but then I tried that and it worked.

so basically you put that code then YOUR number with the area code? or the number to reach voicemail only?

Edit I got it.. CALL YOUR VOICE MAIL NUMBER.. works for me!

Step 1. Key in the following into your phone *#61# then press the call/send button. This will return a telephone number and, on smartphones, the current delay time before voice mail kicks in .

Step 2. Write it down. (For Orange, I think the number would be 0793100123 for example)

Step 3. If you wanted, say, 25 seconds, before the Voice mail activated, then you would put 30 where the nn is in the following string and the telephone number from step 2 where the xxxxxxxx is.

Key in **61*xxxxxxxxx*11*nn# followed by the call/send button and it should update the delay.

For example, if I was on Orange and I wanted a 25 second delay, I would key in **61*07973100123*11*25#

Glad it worked for you Raver758.

And for you Dartafayt, see if this makes any sense (I'm not very good at this kinds thing, so bare with me!)

If you have the motorola V3 then from menu...
*Setting-->*Call Divert-->*Voice Calls-->*To:Voicemail...and there you have your voicemail number

And the short way to do it (I think anyway!) you put in the '+' sign (press and hold the '0' key) then your country code (for example if you're in the uk, then it'll be '44') and then '062' (I have no idea what that's for! Possibly the provider.)and then the rest of your phone number (but drop off the first '0') Make sense??

Here's and example - I'm in the UK so I'll put in [bold]**61*+44062[/bold]7900000000[bold]*11*30#[/bold]

If I'm confusing things too much, then let me know and I'll try again (explaining isn't my strong point!)

Let me know how it goes!
