For years i have been buying DVD players without asking for advice and most or all of the dvd players i have chose were either bad quality or broken within a year. I am asking the you AD members to recommend the best DVD player under $80. I have been looking at the Phillips DVP642 but after reading some reviews i made the decision of staying away from it. I want an up to date DVD player but not that expensive. Please let me know of any DVD players that are worth mentioning and buying. Also i was looking at the Norcent DP2700. It comes with surround sound speakers and was wondering if that DVD player was any good. My cousin was going to sell me his for $25 since he doesnt need it anymore. Is there anyway to update that DVD player or hack it so i can play SVCD or Divx on it? Thank you!
