I completed the process for my first vcd but I can not play it on my dvd player and in my computer when I place the cd windvd does not play it automatic. When I explore the cd there are multiple folders but there are no files outside of the folders. When I explore a dvd there is an install file and other files outside of the folders is this supposed to be like this or did I do something wrong. I used dvd2svcd and easy vcd. I need help I am lost with out a clue, I have read all the faq's and manuals but none talk about the files needed for the dvd player to play the movie. I thank you for the help you might provide.
In WinDVD, click the open button. Make sure you select file and not disk. go to the cd and into the foler MPEGAV. Now open the file AVSEQ01.dat and that should be the movie!
Dela thanks, I had already done that, I guess I was expecting it would work like a dvd or music cd that it automatically starts playing what about the dvd?? How do I play it in the dvd player?
does your dvd player actually support svcd playback, not all of them do, it may also be a media problem, what is the make and model of your dvd player?
