If any one could possible help me I would really appreciate it. This is my first Mac, i have all of my pictures and short videos on my pc and i cant seem to transfer them to my mac. I have a cannon digital camera and i usually hook it up to my pc and upload my pics onto my camera but when i take my camera and hook it up to my mac it wont recognize my camera or it will but it won't let me transfer the pics on to my mac. Please help me i'm getting so annoyed i just want it to work! I would really appreciate it. Thankyou.
Welcome to the mac community. First step would be to connect your camera to the macbook, and open up Iphoto, which should recognize the camera. If this fails, find the CD that came with your camera and install software and drivers for the mac. Finally, if you do not have this disc, visit the canon website and see the download section for drivers,etc. for your camera. Enjoy your Macbook, as i am enjoying mine.
