Ibought the eurovox ex5000 this wk and it works with the free channels but I'm strggling to flash it(if thats the right term). The rs2323 cable came with it and i've got a usb serial adaptor to use thro the usb port but it doesn't seam to want to recognise the eurovox. Desparate! What do i do? Can any one give me some simple (thats for me) instructions
Once you have loaded the driver for the USB adapter, follow the guide here to assign the correct Comm Port for it http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923#4033225 After that it should work.
Thanks for the fast reply. Done that, through the Devuce Manager and the port shows as comm10. The transfur program only shows comm 1,2 and 3. The ports on my laptop are 8, 9 and 10 do they corrispond to 1,2,3? When I try to download the message 'awaiting response from the receiver' appears.
You need to change your USB Adapter port settings to either of 1 to 4 the link tells you how to do this.
