I have DVD Decrypter, and I used the "FILE Mode" to rip a copy of a movie, I went to "EDIT/Select Main Movie Files" then with all those movie files highlit I right clicked, and selected "Stream Processing", I unselected 0x81 - Audio - AC3 until 0x83 - Audio - AC3, so I was left with "0xE0 - Video" and "0x80 - Audio - AC3" <--so I just have the English audio track, which is all I want and need. then I clicked OK and clicked the "Decrypt" button... I now have a "VIDEO_TS" folder and inside it, are TOTAL of 12 files, 7 of WHICH are ACTUAL "VOB" files of the movie. I don't know why it splits in the process. but... here is what I'd like to know, what do I do next to combine all these VOB files together and convert them to an ".AVI" file that is either a standard 1.39GIG or a 700Meg file. ? that is the question I am left with. There are so many Conversion "TO AVI" tools that I could easily loose my head in. Any suggestions or help? I tried out this http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd2divx_anamorphic.cfm but I get stuck at the CDEX step, cos...I dont HAVE a "wav" file after DVD2AVI process, it only rips two versions of AC3 Encoded files. anyway. I dont even want to use that method. Is there an easier one? that one seems to be not working anyways.
I'm not sure what you done...lol but use autogk its a one click suite to convert you dvd files to divx get it here http://www.autogk.me.uk/ hope that helps if you want to do it the way I do is I rip dvd with dvd fab decrypter get it here http://dvdidle.com/free.htm you can rip main movie and remove audio tracks then open the resultant file with autogk just select the ifo file it will then take 2 to 3 hrs doing its thing when its done you've got a file with dolby not pcm sound works good just time consuming but its one click you can even select how large you want the output file to be keep in mind a cd-r only holds about 80 minutes so you may want to split the file it will do that for you to
