    Welcome to aD!
    Here's what I can see.
Update your Nero - the latest one is 7.0.8.2. You can go thru Nero ToolKit>Nero Product Setup to update.
Turn DMA back on. Here's a link if needed:
    http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/231/dmaissues
Your drives firmware is up to date but it's not recognizing the id on the discs. All it can see is that it's a +r.
What brand are your using? This may be the cause of your illegal disc error.
Your burning at your drives max speed try 2x.

    Thanks for you reply!!!

    okay here we go...

I cant update nero because i always get a connection error.
my DMA is "perfectly" (as described) configured.
I'm using Ritek discs (i used DVD Identifier).
Nero just allows me to choose 4x burning. Idk why.

do you have any other ideas?

Here's a link for the Nero update:
    http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php
Now the DMA - Daemon tools - okay
Ritek media is okay but there are better, more compatible ones. I would recommend trying Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Instore look for made in Japan Fuji or Sony.
Your drives last firmware(which helps w/ read & write strategies on media) is from 2004 so it hasn't been updated in awhile. This may be the reason why the discs can't be id'd or you can't choose different burns x's. Your drive doesn't really know what to do with them.

Okay i got the update but like before my drive doesn't recognize the disc. Now my idea is to put the a modded firmware or something like that on there..? is that possible?
i really don't know what do anymore..

plus i had the same problem with HP discs.

Yes your could try modified firmware if you can find one for your drive.
I did a quick search and couldn't come up with any. The one problem is if not done correctly/bad flash you can kill your drive.
Since this is an older drive you can try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaner and see if it helps any.
The HP discs I'm not surprised they fail - they don't always use quality manufacturers for their discs.
Try the verbs, or made in japan fuji, sony or maxell.
