Hey guys, here is the deal, i have installed flash fxp, changed my xbox ip to 192.168.0.3., and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW TO TRANSFER MY FILES!!!!!!
IF you have your box's networking setup and that is the correct IP just put that into FlashFXP as the site URL, then enter the correct user name and password (whatever is setup in the box's network settings) on port 21 and hit connect. kc
Yeah but, i read the guid on how to do it with flash fxp, and "pimpdawg" says to switch your comp. Ip to 192.168.0.4, and your xbox to 192.168.0.3 and also to match the DNS to the pc ip. I did. I have a windows 2000, and it says when i try to set the ip to 192.168.0.4 and the subnet to 255.255.255.0, but there is also a gateway, i do not know what to set it too, i am so confused, Please help me.
configure the network settings in the XBOX, then use the box's IP as the URL in FlashFXP (on your PC), set port to 21, enter the user name and password and hit connect, you don't have to adjust any of your PCs configurations (unless your firewall software blocks your FTP client), you're not trying to FTP from the box to the PC, and once the PC is logged into the box you can transfer both ways via the PC. don't try to make it more complicated then it is. kc
Alright, I DID IT!!!! I CONNECTED IT. Finaly. Now i have halo 2 mod files that i already sent to the xbox, how do i make them take effect?
