Please Help Me!

    is there a way to take the audio off an AVI file and put it on a CD-R
    case I want to take the audio off of Chris Rock comedy and liston to it in my car.

    if there is a way can you pleasegive me detialed instructions on how to do this because I have no clue.

    Hi Shawn,
    You should open your AVI in VirtualDub (or VDubMod or NanDub)
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdubmod.cfm
    And select File > Save WAV
    This will strip or DeMux the audio from your AVI :^)
    It will possibly (probably) be in a compressed audio format, ie. AC3 or MP3.
    Once you have this file, you need to author a compliant audio CD (Redbook CDA) with it.
    There is much info on making CDs from MP3s floating around...
    I use CDex

    for all kinds of things - it will decompress an MP3 to WAV and downsample it from 48KHz to 44.1KHz CD standard.
    Anyway, I give you a little 'push' and let's see what you can figure out yourself from here...
