PLEASE HELP ME

    i have a dmr-e85h panasonic dvd recorder. i just bought a 50 pack of memorex dvd-r (8x), and all of them are not recognized by the dvd recorder. IS THIS UNUSUAL??? Has anyone else had this problem. Please let me know.

    Some brands of recorders only are able to utilize one type of media. Mine for example will only burn to a +R disc. It will however, play -R's just fine.

    My guess is yours' is the same. Try some +R discs.

    Don't buy + anything or Memorex. Buy verbatim DVD-R, any speed 4x or up. And avoid Fuji unless they're giving them away.

    I agree that Memorex is poor media. However, Fuji (MIJ) discs are rebranded TY's.

    As I stated before, your recorder may need the +R format to burn.

    The E85H will only burn -R -RW and RAM
