You might want to remove your serial number (2nd line).

Your firmware is really old, go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1816 and download the latest 1.33 to run and update your HP burner's firmware. This should help to increase the media compatibility and burning performances.

One of your driver or your Samsung's driver (cd-rom) DMA is Off, it needs to turn back On. Here, follow the below guide to fix DMA.

((To enable DMA back ON by "uninstalling" its driver “for Win XP users” by Alkohol))

Here are some helpful pictures for references.

    A) on "DESKTOP" right click on "MY COMPUTER," left click on "PROPERTIES"

    B) left click on "HARDWARE," left click on "DEVICE MANAGER"

    C) left click on + sign of IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
    [IMG]

    D) double left click on either “Primary” or “Secondary IDE Channel”

    E) left click on "DRIVER," left click on "UNINSTALL"
You will see a "Warning: you are about to uninstall this device from your system," just click "OK," now "SHUTDOWN" or "restart" your computer
    F) once you restart your computer, Windows should automatically detect your DVD burner’s drive and re-install it for you. That's it...easy as smoking!!

**NOTE: do these steps only if the above process failed to bring DMA back on, or you can do exactly like the above steps, except this time you "Uninstall" it from the “DVD/CD-ROM Drives”

    ****at Device Manager****
    (A) left click on + sign of DVD/CD-ROM Drives
    (B) double left click on your DVD burner or your DVD-ROM drive
    (C) click on "DRIVER," "UNINSTALL," "OK" and then "shutdown" or "restart" your computer. That's it... easy as smoking!!!

This is way way too low -- you hardly have any memory left. You need to free up/release more memory while burning. It is very critical and most importantly don't multi-tasking or don't open too many unnecessary programs, disable them programs/applications if you don't really needed them in prior to the burning process.

Something is not right here, what are you trying to burn? It should read somthing like this: (an example from mine)

Last possible write address on media: 2295103 (510:01.28, 4482MB)
Last address to be written: 2253343 (500:44.43, 4400MB)
    or something like "4360MB"

Again, firmware is needed here. It can't read/recognize your type of DVD+R and its manufacture code. This is where it should says; (below is an example from mine)

    12:07:47 PM #13 Text 0 File DlgWaitCD.cpp, Line 2578
Recorder: SONY DVD RW DRU-710A, Media type: DVD+R
Disc Manufacturer ID: YUDEN000, Media Type ID: T02

Your burner doesn't like the media you're using. Again, update the firmware, then try with good media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell (mij).
