I tried to install the Qoob Pro and i think i solder all the wires ok. i did find it quite hard with the 5v wire. when I put it all back i flashed the qoob (the CPU recognised it). when i plug it all in to try ..the light comes on, the fan comes on but the disc doesnt spin... and theres a blank screen.

i know this has happened to a few ppl but pls can anyone help me.. im so depressed without my gamecube... is there anyone in london who can care to have a look? I am willing to pay if it is necessary... pls email me leekwanhoa@hotmail.com.

(i shud have got someone to do it for me but...i cudnt find anyone who does qoob installation..). I am so upset cus this is my only console....

The same thing happend to me while installing my chip. Make sure that the dvd drive unit is "plugged in" all the way. I popped it into place and it started working. sometimes the chip stops you from having a good connection
