Please help receiving error 05 when i turn on xbox

    I modded my xbox and it was working great it. I was using slayer evo-x and avalaunch. Then i turned on my xbox today and it came up with the 05 error message. How do I fix this without losing everything?

    Check your mod chip it is probably out of alignment or some wire has come lose. Hope this solves it.

    error 05 i think is because you didnt lock the hard drive. the retail bios requires you lock the hard drive this can be done in evox

    he wont need to lock it unless his chip is not working

    thank you for your help. The chip was out of place and once i fixed that it worked again.
