i have just bought this box, from the pages and pages i have read i think it is a clone i have loaded 2.59 E e and that has a jan 2007 date, when i try scanning no channels i bought the box second hand and on first pluggin it did have some channels bbc 1 etc through my course of messing at one point i did get it to find loads of channels by turning EMU on the rescanning but they would not display just stayed blank i ahve tried searching, honestly, so i am not being lazy any help would be great thanx in advance dazza
ok i have managed to get the channels by doing a scan , but not on n*l, using OM whatever that is, so ok i have put the codes in for n*l, but for any scrambled channels it just keeps looping, by the way i am in the blackburn area, if this helps cheers
You might be better of doing a factory reset Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete English > Installation Choose NTL Automatic Scan Press OK 176 Channels found Exit Menu 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit Abd if your sure you have a clone , the firmware is 2.57_fixed and it does not loop and no codes need to be inputted
ok i am loading that firmware now then will do factory reset, but i did a factory reset and then auto but didnt find any will try again thanx poster
thanx for the info, i didnt need to rescan or fatory reset, as soon as i uploaded the firmware you suggested KAPOW the scrambled channels came straight on excellent thanx again dazza
