    the best easiest and freeest(proper spelling?)way is to rip and burn with dvd decrypter and use dvd shrink in the middle to make the movies fit. ps2 games are similar the biggest difference is you have to purchase a mod chip to allow your console to read the copy. The dvd decrypter is no longer being updated so hurry and download if it's not to late.this is a very helpful guide explaining the process

    @L8nite, "Ouch!" ... Heheheh... jjk!

    Why would I think you're stepping on my toes? You're just offering supplemental/supportive information. This is what you're supposed to do (or vehemently disagree with me if you want)... Either way, it adds knowledge to the forum.

    "freeest?" LMAO... I didn't realize there were degrees of free-ness! ;-)

    YES! You can either:
    1) rip with Decrypter (or Shrink), compress with Shrink & save as ISO image, and burn the ISO with Decrypter... OR
    2) rip with Decrypter (or Shrink), compress with Shrink & save as VOB files, and burn with Nero.
    Either way, you'll get exactly the same result.

    Yes! Very good advice. Get it while you still can, and save the installation program somewhere safe (so that if/when you upgrade to a new computer you can install it on the new one too). Be sure to disable the automatic updates function in Decrypter. [No more updates will be offered, and you don't want decrypter to check the server for updates for (somewhat parnoid, but perhaps not) fear that your IP address will be traced.] Tools-->Setting-->Events-->and then uncheck "Check for Program Updates". Also block Decrypter with your firewall.
