    Thank you very much for your timely response.
    When i entered the code it said phone restriction off. however when i put in the simcard it doesnt seem to register, it could read my phone numbers but there is no service??? any ideas?

    Where are you located with this phone and what sim are you trying to use?

    That phone will not work with any network in Israel because the 6061 from the USA is only compatible with GSM 850/1900 Mhz and you are trying to use it on a 3G network. Israel doesn't have a GSM 1900 Mhz network over there. You will need a quad band phone for use in Israel. It can't be made to work.
