sorry, but im panicing, i dont want to blow my ps2's fuse!! i just now installed the no solder mod. 1. when i tap the eject i comes in and out a few times by itself. 2. when i put the ps2 in sleep mode, then push reset to turn it on the tray goes in and out a few times also. 3. if i hold the eject button so it turns orange, the tray goes out faster then after 5 secs, it closes faster. 4. nothing is loading, not even originals or gameshark 2!! is any of this normal, and whats not noral that i have mentioned, why wount anything load? please anybody respond ASAP!
well, what version ps2 do you have? im thinking that when putting your ps2 back together you messed up on putting the wires back onto the motehr board, so its all messed up.
i dunno what da heck is going on but i reinstalled it and its atleast loading my originals now...*phew*
WHAO...! it loads my 80 min. ps2 cd-r's!!!! i also baught a usb mod, that loads the 80 min cd-r..but now i dont have to install it, my no solder playes them!!! the only diff thing that ive noticed is that there is different loading sound comming from the ps2 dvd rom when loading and playing a backup cd-r.
i've noticed the different sound from cdr games, i heard that it's due to the factthat the cdr discs spin much faster than dvdr's. do you get a whining noise from it when the tray is out and in the puase waiting to go back in on it's own? if so, i 'd yank that chip outta there, i heard that sound right before my no-solder chip killed 2 of my PS2's. keep yer ears open dude!!
thanks for the tip darth..ill keep checking incase it decides to start over surgeing the tray. ill have to keep checking incase the sound starts buzzing.
