I would like to add some 3D titles & effects on my home movies. I know how to generate 3D titles, I want to add them or I should say Overlay them on my video such that my video still plays as the background and the 3D effect (title or objects are on the foreground. I use Vegas 6 & am trying out Ulead 3D. Is there other software that will do this?
I'm no pro, but I use Avid liquid. It's a little pricey, but I think you could do it with Pinnacle Studio as well (similar to liquid but not as advanced). I used to use Studio. I don't really know any other product besides the Pinnacle line. (which is actually why I'm in this forum) Anyway I think studio will do what you want. I will say however, my experience with Pinnacle products are that they have AWESOME bells and whistles, but are a bit unstable and maybe better in theory than the real thing. However...I still use them so, you can live with the downside...I think.
