Please Help

Ok i dl some movies off limewire now i wanted to put them on a dvd so i downloaded nero and the movies burnt onto the dvd and play in my computer but won't play on my dvd player.Am i forgetting a step it all seems to easy compared to what most people have to do.All I do is go to nero iso1 nero buring rom and burn the avi onto a disc what STEP or STEPS am i missing?????

 

Ok .avi its probbably DVIX encoded so it can only be played in computers and DVD player that support this format, does your player support this format??? if it does post media information and player model so we can help.


PS: Why is this in CD-RW?? this should be in the DVD-Players section

 

You will have to convert your files try free programs DivXtoDVD here

After converting you can use DVDShrink to compress and encode, if the file is bigger than 4.5G, otherwise you can just burn with Nero.

 

You can always use DL layer DVD's to burn more up to 8.5 gb but they are pretty expensive.
