I just bought a BENQ DVD Rewriter (DW1620 pro). Initially burning DVD-R (generic 4X) was about 50% successful but after burning about 10 of these, things started to get worse. For the last 5 DVD-R, i would get the message burned failed at 4x, sometimes at the beginning of the burning stage.

    Hope you could help.

PS This is the one of the log of the failed attempts.

Try some brand name media like Verbatim or Fuji, made in Japan

As Ppower said definitely switch to quality media. I'll throw TY's in there also.
Also make sure you are not multi tasking. Try and shut down some processes. Your system is getting pretty low on memory:
    [bold]Physical memory : 223MB (228848kB)
    Free physical memory: 59MB (60900kB)
    Memory in use : 73 % [/bold]
Don't know your system specs but if it will support more memory you should add it.

    hi again chan88

when you get a chance be sure to read the forum rules as you should not multipost. Usually one thread will be better to get the help that you need and less confusion with going back and forth with both threads.
