I know there are a lot of Bittorrent guides out there, but none seemed to work for me...

I'm using BitLord now, and in the past, when I'm using Azureus, the download speed can go up to at least 200 kB/s. But now, the speed can't even hit 100, if it can, it's very rare...I'm usually connected to the maximum number of seeds and about 150 peers out of 500...

I've already configured my router, the firewall port is already opened. I'm using Zonealarm Pro, I've changed the settings in my network connection. I'm also behind a linksys router (my computer is running on wireless internet connection, at 54 mbps), and the advertised speed for my internet speed is 6500 kbps... Can someone please tell me what to do?

yea azuresus iv used that wasnt that good and bitlord is just crap

atm im using bitcomet and havent had any complaints for since i switched

sounds to me like your using a public torrent site ? that could be your problem try getting into private sites like torrentbytes/torrentleech/supertorrents/oink/demonoid etc

but if your not willing to seed you wont have an account there for long

ohh i didnt need to configure much with bitcomet i just opened up the port (even tho my speed was fine b4 i poened ports) i thought it wouldnt help to do so

Yes I have opened up my ports... I've switched to Bitcomet now, but it seems no difference... How do I go about registering with a private tracker?
