Could someone help me at some of the best models. I am will too spend $200-350 dollars for a good one. I can't find one with three feature 1. Component input and output. I have a HD TV. That doesn't support HDMI. The don't want to record show on a S-VIDEO cable. They only look good on a Component. 2. A Hard drive would be cool. 3. Video up-convert HD (Convert video to 720p or 1080i) That's a cool feature. please, please someone help. If there is cool DVD recorders without those features. It's fine, I just need some help.
Go to http://www.videohelp.com and look under "DVD Recorders" on the left. I think most recorders have component input and output; my Panasonic does.
