Hi everyone My gf tried to install an Apple ipod on her comp but when it restarted, it went to the screen offering the option of opening windows normally, in safe mode, etc. None of these options work - she keeps getting the blue screen error 0x0000007b. The best advice you can give me if possible, is how to uninstall the ipod without being able to get into windows. By the way she does not have her windows disks. THANKS
Thanks nintenut, but it is unplugged. I thought the same as you. Is there any way to uninstall it without using windows as i can't get to windows?
What do you mean uninsall it? You don't have to INSTALL an iPod. If Windows isn't booting, then ask your question in the Windows forum. My only advice would be to mess with the BIOS settings.
Cheers Jaxo, Have you any idea why putting an ipod on the comp would do this though? Is it possible to boot the comp in dos without going to windows so i can run chckdisk? thanks
Yeah you should be able to. Most likely it's a corrupted or missing file for Windows, and you will probably have to install it again.
