I recently installed a new windows operating system and now every time I turn on my computer it asks me what operating system i want to use. How do I get rid of this so it just chooses the newer one? Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you have enabled show hidden files in Windows Explorer. Then
load the file c:\boot.ini into Notepad then copy and paste it here. Then we can see what you need to do.

    msconfig:

Go to run type msconfig select the boot ini tab and choose the correct operating system to boot then delete the incorrect operating system to boot and your problem is solved.
