hi all, ever since i got my matrix infinity chip i have been having problems. now, these problems have resolved, but another has occoured again! i went through the config screen of the chip and made a change. i went to load a back-up game, and all of a sudden, i was taken to the red screen where "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 disc" is stated. i can load originals, but not back ups any more

could somebody please help me, i would greatly apprciate it!

    thanks in advance

did you try putting the PS2 in standby mode then turning it back on? If you hold down the start button the Matrix Chip will be disabled until you do this. Also it might be a good idea to go to the website and update to the latest firmware.

I think you may have a clone. As soon as you make a change with the MI clones they will die.

The Modbo v2.1 also has the same improvements as Modbo v1.2 with the main one being that now you can not change the settings in the config menu so the chip will be safe from damage

It can still die if you attempt to upgrade it though ... correct?

Also garbage that should be avoided

soz for the late replies boys...

in reply to your question arrur4, from what i know, my chip is a Matrix INfinity v1.4

i am able to (was able to..) use the features that is offered. though im sttill wondering whether it is a clone. i have heard that the clone's will die after a setting is changed, due to an update as i hav just read now in the thread

    im not sure anymore..
