"please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK......" help plz

    hello mates, i've just mounted an ISO backup of the game "Lord of the rings" with DEAMON, and i install it, but the problem is when i start it says "please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application"...
    plz can someone help

    Usually, due to the copy protection of most PC games, this is not possible to run ISO backups without certain "cracks". However, we cannot provide you with such "cracks" as per forum rules.

    All I reccomend is that you look into a program called VSO BlindWrite to backup your games and you may have more sucess with that.

    I'll ask this be closed incase anyone uses it as an oppertunity to ask for such "cracks".

    thank you brother, so it is possible to play this backup without DVD-rom (only with a virtual drive)??
    so the clu is the carck, isn't it?

    Yes, it is possible. Cracks are not the deffinate answer, which you will find when looking into the software I linked to in my last post.

    No problem. Glad you could get it sorted. Just goes to show you don't have to resort to cracks and piracy to get the job done >.<
