    I am not able to access hotmail or even check all my messages with the afterdawn forum. I have spy emergency,avg antivirus,and they said there was nothing found. avg did find 2 this morning, but it said it cleared them, however, my computer is running very slowly.

    Hi hitwriter.

    At first, disable your SpySweeper and SpywareDoctor because those may hinder the cleaning, instructions here -> http://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Removal:_Temporarily_Disable_Real_Time_Monitoring_Programs

    You don't have a firewall on your computer. Download and install one firewall.

    These are good (free) firewalls:
    ZoneAlarm --> http://www.zonelabs.com
    Kerio--> http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio.cfm
    Outpost-> http://www.agnitum.com

    Cleaning instructions:

    Move HijackThis into its own folder C:\HJT

    Download and install Ewido anti-malware -> http://www.ewido.net/en/download
    Update it, but do NOT run a scan yet. We'll use it later.

    Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Remove Aluria or similar if found
    It can't be trusted.

    I would get rid of that Spy Emergency 2005 because I don't trust it, you can read more from here -> http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm#spyemg_note

    Run HijackThis. Press Do a system scan only, then close all other windows, checkmark the following entries and press Fix checked

    O2 - BHO: AcroIEHlprObj Class - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - blank (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - blank (file missing)
    O2 - BHO: Trlokom IE Toolbar - {C5AF4D9B-0B55-4BAC-9486-218EA2C6BC3E} - blank (file missing)
    O3 - Toolbar: Trlokom IE Toolbar - {C5AF4D9B-0B55-4BAC-9486-218EA2C6BC3E} - blank (file missing)

    Open Notepad
    -> copy the following lines into a new document:

    @echo off
    sc stop ASCService
    sc delete ASCService

    Save the document to your desktop as Removal.bat and filetype: All Files
    Go to your desktop and run the file Removal.bat and answer yes to any questions.

    Make your hidden files visible -> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html
    Restart your computer to the safemode -> http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml

    Delete these folders (if found):
    C:\Program Files\Aluria Security Center

    Scan and clean your computer with Ewido and save the report.

    Clean the Recycle bin and make your hidden files visible again.

    Restart your computer normally.

    Post the following logs to here:
    -> a fresh HijackThis log
    -> Ewido's log

    Now you can enable SpywareDoctor and SpySweeper protections again.
