i am trying to burn a dvd.after nero goes through the transcoding, etc,it asks me to insert another disc an error thats telling me there is not enough space on my disc for this compilation?the movie was only an hour and a half and the blank disc 2 hrs long?whts going on?please help. thanx
In Nero and other programs, DVD blanks are measured by how much data they can contain and not the length of the video. A one hour movie could take up more space than a two hour movie if the one hour movie was encoded to have greater video detail and/or more elaborate sound. Which Nero program were you using, e.g., Nero Recode or Nerovision? Did you convert an AVI to be DVD compliant with Nerovision? Are you backing up one of your DVD titles with Nero Recode? What did you have selected as the target output size: DVD5 or DVD9 or some custom size? Edit: text added below What specific version of Nero are you using? Do you have a log you could post?
