He told me just solder the cable but please please check this images and if it is good or not? I would tend to agree with the above. It looks like the inside of your Xbox grew an afro. If it works i would not mess with it. The question is, how long will it work. If those things that look like hair are strands of glue, you can assume over time when the xbox heats up they will melt a bit. If they get onto the wrong parts you are in for trouble.
wow im no expert by any means but...WOW question is why did he use a glue gun in the first place? should have gone with a heat gun anywho my opinion is leave well enough alone considering any more tampering might render it useless but if your the daring type try emptying the glue gun (make sure ALL of the glue is out before attempting this)using the tip when heated to heat the glue on your chip to where the glue is tacky-almost dry-not soft as this will further hurt the situation-and using your magnifier and tweezers to pull up what you can bit by bit take your time remember barely touching the ends of the glue with the EMPTY gluegun will heat the better part of the surounding area so WORK CAREFULY AND SLOWLY i had a simular sit. when i chipped my wii (gun accidentally fell on the board) remember im no expert and what worked for me might not for others try at your own risk good luck
